About Konkani Sammelan

Konkani Sammelan 2027 — Mothiyacho Utsavu — marks the 30th anniversary of our community with a celebration unlike any other. It is a tribute to the cultural programs, family gatherings, music, performances, food, and shared memories that have bound us together for three decades.

It is a five-day cruise event open to all members of the Konkani community and their families across North America. The cruise departs from Cape Liberty Cruise Port in Bayonne, New Jersey on June 29, 2027 and returns on July 3, 2027. The port is conveniently located minutes from New York City with easy access from the tri-state area and major airports.

Registration packages cover your cruise cabin accommodation, all Konkani Sammelan cultural events and programs, access to gala dinners, workshops, and the Pearl Jubilee celebration. Cruise onboard amenities, port excursions, and specialty dining are typically available for additional cost. Full package details will be released to pre-registered attendees first.
